This privacy policy applies to the ResumeFai: AI Resume Builder mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "App") for Android devices. This App is provided as an ad-supported service at no cost and is intended for use as-is.
For a better experience while using our App, we utilize services that collect and process certain diagnostic and performance data. The categories of information and processing are outlined below:
Any personal or professional information you input into the App (including names, employment history, education, skills, and saved tracking data) is stored locally on your mobile device. We do not host user databases or access your local file configurations unless explicitly permitted to export your PDFs.
When you explicitly invoke an AI-driven feature (such as the AI Resume Builder, Resume Upload & Import, ATS Checker, Job Tailor, Cover Letter Generator, LinkedIn Optimizer, Follow-up Email Generator, Interview Prep Assistant, or AI Resume Assistant Chat), the necessary text context is transmitted securely via encryption (HTTPS) to our third-party AI service provider to generate your result. When you upload an existing resume file (PDF or Word), the file itself never leaves your device: only its extracted text is transmitted for analysis. This data is processed ephemerally, is not saved by us, and is not used for developer tracking purposes.

We value your trust in providing your information. All data explicitly sent outward to facilitate AI generation tasks is securely encrypted in transit using industry-standard cryptographic protocols (TLS/HTTPS) to block unauthorized access.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers (if applicable) or device cache.
For users residing within the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, consent management is handled seamlessly in-app via the integrated Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form before any advertisements load. You may dynamically modify your preference selections at any time through the Ad privacy options panel located within the App's settings section.
